CONCLUSION:

As a result of participating in the typing test at www.TypingTest.com, i discovered my first trial was above average at 52 wpm (Words per Minute). My second trial prevailed, placing me at 60 wpm.
The improvement with my wmp, i believe to be an indicataor of being familiar with the information. I got further along in the material but made the same errors as with the perviuos trial, then when econcountering the new material made a few errors. As a result, my accuracy stayed at 86% for trial 1 and trial 2.
I believe web-based tutorials can be critical for users looking to obtain information or skills, such as basic typing. Tutorials provide users with tips, techniques, and the ability to put their teaching to use, while also contructing. In conclusion, i believe web-based tutorials to be useful for skill developments and improvments.

TUTORIAL

A great web-based typing tutorial i found was Power Typing. This tutorial starts at the beginner level with the home keys, to make the typist become familiar with these most fundamental keys, then advances with the experience gained.
